Car buying at its best..This is the third time I have purchased a car from Autoselect, and it won't be the last. Great value for money, as they choose cars with a high specification, low mileage and great history. The presentation of the cars has always been flawless, so I have never had any concerns that I would drive a long way to view a car, only to find that its not quite as it appeared in the photos. In the words of one of the Directors, they only buy cars they would want to own themselves, and based on my experience I can believe that is the case. Highly recommend.

The car was exceeded my expectations and I am very fussy when it comes to cars! It was beautifully prepared (as all of their vehicles appear to be) and as described - unusually I couldn't fault it. The service provided by Adam was personal and tailored from arranging for the car to be independently inspected at short notice to collecting me from the train station when collecting the car. Communication was excellent right through. The proof of the pudding - would I buy again. Yes.

From the first meeting through to the completion of the sale we were made to feel valued, the team worked hard to draw up a deal that suited everybody and were very receptive to my requests and nothing seemed to much trouble. The vehicle was described exactly as you found it, and a very informative test drive explaining all about the car. Excellent communication leading up to collection, and the car was presented to a very high standard and everything requested had been done, and even more than we had expected. A very smooth handover, the car was explained very comprehensively before we drove off. The after sales support and help on any issues made the whole experience first class. Thanks.

Bought a range Rover Evoque 7/12/24 from Auto Select asked them to change colour of wheels to black and they were more than obliging apart from that the car was just what i was looking for. Got phone call to say car was ready to collect 15/12/24 traveled over to collect then was told I could not tax the vehicle as they did not have the V5 yet ad on autotrader said it was present ? Auto Select sent off for a new V5 in my name. Couldn't use the car till the 15/1/25 not the end of the world. Then the battery warning came on so I contacted Auto Select Adam said run the car for a few weeks could just need charging up any problems come back to me. So we did. Steering wheel controls and other electrical bits stopped working then battery warning came back. I took the car back over to Auto Select Adams father said the battery was there in the showroom ready to go on would be ready in 24 hours.After 4 days I got call to say it was ready ! on collecting the car I asked " Is it all good now ? have you deleted all the faults ? " The reply was " Yes we have our own diagnostics and its all clear now " Had back for two days and the steering wheel controls stopped working again. This time I took to my local garage who have the JLR software, There was 4 pages of faults!! These were cleared off by my garage and solved the steering wheel problem. One fault stayed on the Door Locking Latch motor on Driver Side Front this was what was draining the battery. I sent the diagnostics report to Auto select they didn't know what the latch motor was and wanted me to take car back over for them to have a look I said for understandable reasons I did not trust for them to do the job ( if I had traveled from manchester to buy the car would I have had to keep taking it back) They did offer to pop over to look at it as well but I couldn't see the point. Told them my garage had quoted around £440.00 to fit new OE JLR motor the part itself cost £218.33 + VAT they did not what to cover it saying it only takes half an hour to fit ( They didn't know what one was at first ). I just wanted the car back on the road so offered to pay the labour if they covered cost of the part. They didn't want to do this either. So I paid for the work to be done myself and the car is all good now. Also I have emailed Auto Select 4 times now simply asking for a copy of the invoice for the new battery so I can put it with the car history and the battery will have a minimum of 4 years warranty ( I wonder if they even fitted new battery or just left on charge for 4 days). They haven't even bothered to reply. To summarise love the car , sale was great very friendly and obliging , Very poor after sale service and poor general correspondence. it will be interesting to see if they bother to respond to this review or maybe not bother like the 4 emails.

I have bought many cars over the years from independents, specialists and main dealers and there is something particularly special about this company. They are very believable which is unusual in this trade -indeed they did everything they said they were going to do and more before I took delivery of the car. I cannot recommend them more highly
